Highlights since 1975:

Having moved from Salida to Albuquerque before our junior year, I have been to two Salida Class of 75 reunions and 3 for Manzano High School in Albuquerque.  Looking forward to the 50 reunion in Salida!

After graduation, I had moved back to Salida for the summer, but returned to Albuquerque and have been there ever since.  I worked as an accountant for many years in the banking industry ,but my last 13 years of employment was as Controller/VP of Finance and Human Resources at a workers' compensation self-insurance company.  Very happily retired since September 2022.

I have 3 beautiful daughters:  Jessica (from my first marriage), Michelle and Maya (with current husband, Michael).  No grandchildren but several grand-kitties!

Michael and I love to travel around the United States and to other countries.  We have enjoyed great trips to Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain, England, Scotland, Greece, Turkey, and a trip planned in October to Machu Pichu in Peru.  Trying to see everything we can while we can - always great to practice kindness and empathy while learning about other cultures.

Favorite high school memories:

Having grown up in Salida, I have many memories with many classmates, most related to band and/or sporting events, especially State Champions in Football.  I remember Mrs. Koenig's English class and all the pranks Hank Matthies pulled in that class, absolutely hilarious.  Drama Club was great as well and I still say "shoot a mile", a phrase used in the "Say Uncle" play.

Worst memory was having to move prior to junior year. However, that year I made my parents take me to Salida for every home football game and even some away games!
